“Thisbefruit” is the concatenation of “Thisbe” and “fruit”. One interpretation of this name is as the fruit that the blood of Pyramus and Thisbe turned from white to purple, i.e., the mulberry.

My earliest impression of mulberries is how tenaciously and inevitably they stained the tips of my fingers whenever I had them as a child. Some budding ideas also refuse to go away like that. This blog is dedicated to expositing those mulberresque ideas.
